Bleach tells the story of Ichigo - a high school student with physcic powers who sees and speaks to the dead. One day however, he finds himself thrust into a battle with an evil spirit called a Hollow, and through twists of fate, takes on the powers of a Shinigami Death God, powers bestowed upon Ichigo by Rukia Kuchiki - a genuine Shinigami, from the world known as the Soul Society. (Where the dead go when they die). Rukia sees that Ighigos soul energy is way beyond that of a normal human being, and so the the story begins - as Ichigo and Rukia team up to fight off the ever increasing threats from the Hollows, discover more friends with powers, and are hunted but other Shinigami too boot!
